Angel is one of the world's best-selling perfumes, and Thierry Mugler drew on olfactory emotions, childhood memories and joyful laughter to create the fragrance. Angel is the image of a Luna Park, an appetizing and mouthwatering fragrance! The first advertisement at the time of the perfume's launch shows Estelle Halliday above the roof of a New York skyscraper. Later it was Jerry Hall's turn, in silver-trimmed fur, entering the scene in a white sand desert in New Mexico, to be the testimonial for the fragrance with mysterious sensuality. The fragrance evokes starry skies and is fruity and sweet thanks to passion fruit, pineapple, and peach. The base notes are built around patchouli with a hint of chocolate along with honey, vanilla and caramel to make Angel gluttonous and captivating.
The bottle is star-shaped and the perfume is blue in color. The bottle is made by master glassmakers according to a semi-craft process and each one is a unique piece, never perfectly the same as the others.
